BIOGRAPHY
Justine Darcenne (Dar-Sen) is a singer/ songwriter who was born & raised in Washington Heights, New York. Darcenne’s passion for music heightened at the early age of 14 when she enrolled into the Celia Cruz Bronx High School of Music. It was there she began professional vocal lessons and trained in music theory. Darcenne’s vocal talent was heard on Instagram by famed artist- Trey Songz, who subsequently opened the door for her to not only record background vocals for his album “Tremaine“, but additionally, she is featured as an artist on his song titled “Find My Love”.
After gaining exposure from performing with Trey Songz across the country for “Tremaine the Tour”, Justine continues to write songs behind the scenes. She has written songs with the notable Wanya Morris of Boyz II Men, and, she was also hand selected to record with one of the industry’s top producers and songwriters- Rico Love; she has a song- “One of Those Girls”- on his Emerging Women of R&B album which was released this year. Justine’s music career as an independent artist is in full pursuit of shedding light on amazing R&B while being one of the next best vocalists of her generation!
